Automatically retrieve priors and route studies from any PACS system to any PACS system!

UltraPREFETCH automatically retrieves studies to any DICOM client based on scheduled orders or receipt of DICOM studies. The system can receive scheduled HIS/RIS information, HL7 orders or DICOM Modality Worklist. The application can also poll a DICOM device (using DICOM Query) to build a list of immediate studies for Pre-Fetch.

As scheduled order information comes in, UltraPREFETCH queries your existing DICOM archives or servers for prior studies based on your custom criteria (Patient ID, Birth date, Name, etc).

Using UltraRAD’s "Smart Route" feature the studies are moved to any DICOM workstation or PACS system automatically. "Smart Routing" allows the system to track previous routing and to query each destination to ensure that the study and correct number of series and images are received at the correct Route Destination.

No more time consuming searches through archives for prior studies. With UltraPREFETCH your Radiologists spend their time reading studies instead of searching for them.

The advanced UltraPREFETCH Workflow engine can be configured to support multiple HL7 or DICOM environments. The flexible application can be customized for even the most complex workflows.

UltraPREFETCH can also be packaged with any UltraRAD Gateway or Archive allowing PACS Administrator’s to meet their storage, routing, and pre-fetch needs.
